Monica Almgren
Logistics, SwedenIf you see someone whizzing past you at the warehouse in Bankeryd, it is most likely Monica Almgren. She has been involved in the loading of Corroventa's finished products for the last 5 years and from time to time also helps helps out with incoming goods. Monica has worked in logistics for almost 25 years and has experience working with all kinds of forklift trucks.
What do I like about working here? I had heard of Corroventa before joining; a small company with a good reputation, and not without reason. What I like here is the community, you get to know everyone after a while. I have a lot more autonomy here than I did in my previous jobs in larger companies, which I really appreciate. There is room for initiative and I feel that everyone wants to be involved and take responsibility for making things work.
Outside of work, Monica shares a keen interest in vintage American cars with her husband and one of their two children. The family currently owns three cars, with Monica's own favourite being a 1960 Chrysler DeSoto. Monica has also been active in the Home Guard since her teenage years.
